Free scavenger hunts for deserving nonprofits
New Grand Rapids startup celebrates launch by paying it forward
GRAND RAPIDS — Distel Wolfe Events, a new corporate team building and experiential marketing firm, is giving back to the nonprofit community in Michigan. This year the company will award two nonprofits with a scavenger hunt designed either to help raise money or awareness, an offer valued at $2,500.
"Something magical happens when you put people in teams and give them a creative mission to complete together," said Jill Wolfe, partner and creative director at Distel Wolfe. "We wanted to bring that magic to organizations in our community, whether it's helping them to raise funds for their cause or just get their employees together to blow off a little steam.”
Co-owners Jill Wolfe and Carol Distel understand how important it is for nonprofits to be able to reach their most important audiences and engage donors, employees and the public on an experiential level.
The giveaway includes a custom designed hunt for up to 50 people that builds on the nonprofit’s brand and mission that engages donors, board members, employees and/or the general public through a unique and fun activity.
The winning nonprofits will also be featured on Distel Wolfe’s website and social media networks.
Eligible nonprofits must be a 501(c)(3). Distel Wolfe is currently accepting applications at distelwolfe.com/nonprofit, where nonprofits can tell the story of why their organization is the most deserving of a free scavenger hunt.
